During James’ 21 year career at HMRC he has worked in clerical roles on Corporation Tax, PAYE, Self-Assessment and Employers as well as managing teams in SA/PAYE processing and Risk & Intelligence Services. James latterly worked in HMRC compliance working both income tax and corporation tax compliance checks on SME businesses.  In 2016 James moved into HMRC’s evasion task force. James has a very good working knowledge of HMRC’s tax enquiry process, information requests and penalty regimes.
