Gemma has received the CIPD Level 7 Award in Employment Law, as well as a Masters Degree in Legal Practice, the Legal Practice Course to qualify as a Trainee Solicitor, and a Law Degree with Honours. Gemma has worked as a generalist HR specialist for a number of industries in both the public and private sectors. Gemma has 14 years of practical experience supporting businesses of all sizes, ranging from micro businesses up to those within the corporate sector. Gemma has excelled within a number of difference departments and specialises in drafting employment documentation, carrying out disciplinary and grievance meetings, and dealing with more complex issues such as Redundancy, TUPE, Settlement Agreements and Managing Employee Absenteeism. Gemma started working with the partnerships team two years ago to help provide competent legally compliant and commercially focused advice to businesses of all sizes and in all industries
